I have had the opportunity to create some work for broadcast television – in Australia. Surprise.
I was writer, associate producer and had a role in an episode of “The Great Trains of Australia – The XPT-Melbourne-Sydney.” But my greatest joy was being able to write for the number one children’s television show, “Here’s Humphrey,” a pre-school show for which I created 50 half-hour episodes. Then, in a moment that could only happen down under, I was asked to appear as “The Storyteller” in 40 episodes, during which I told five minute self-authored stories to kids 3-6 years of age. Wow.
In addition, for Banksia Productions I worked on “The Music Shop,” and “Sea Lion.”
I have also co-authored, with my writing partner Frank Marchese, four screenplays, including: Mystery Date, Dexter Takes Paris, The Stoonads and Tommygirl Gives Birth To Alien.
I can assure you all you need do is ask, and we’d be delighted to give you a copy, Mr. Spielberg.
